First things first: In Austria, the so-called 2-G rule applies everywhere:

For the current winter season, only the so-called “2-G+” regulation applies in Austria (a 2.5G regulation for entry), so all guests aged 12 and over must either bevaccinated or recovered and PCR-tested .

  • PCR test (booster vaccination exempt from PCR test)
  • Official confirmation of a COVID-19 disease contracted in the last 6 months

    • or at Johnson & Johnson the single immunization is only valid until 03.01.2022 – unless revaccinated
    • or recovered persons 21 days after the first vaccination

The document must be presented at check-in at the hotel; proof of testing or antibodies is no longer permitted.
